Broomfield Senior Services and the library are proud to partner with Active Minds for an ongoing series of lectures to foster lifelong learning. 

This session will discuss The National Parks! - The world's first national park, Yellowstone, was created by an act of Congress in 1872. Today, the parks system includes over 400 units, 84 million acres of land, and hosts over 300 million visitors per year. Learn the story of the development of the national parks system, highlights, and notable events. Please note: this event is hosted at the Broomfield Community Center.
