Program Description

Event Details

Join educators from the Denver Art Museum and discuss artworks, followed by an art making activity that highlights exploration, materials and process. This session features three generations of women from the Naranjo family, whose artistic lineage and legacy were born in the ancestry of Kha'po Owingeh (Santa Clara Pueblo) in northern New Mexico. From one generation to the next, they have created and told stories using clay, showing us how clay connects: to place, across generations and time, and to one another.

Registration is required.

Please note: Videographers from the Denver Art Museum may be recording portions of this program to serve as a training piece for educators. Please let library staff know if you would like to opt OUT, and you will NOT be recorded.
