Get your tickets now and enjoy a night of music heard during Shakespeare's lifetime! Shakespeare has influenced playwrights and composers from the time his plays were first performed (in London around 1592) to the present day.  ASTER will offer pieces heard during Shakespeare’s lifetime, a charming set of acapella works by 20th Century American composer Amy Beach, a jazzy set by Clifford Stillwell, Jr., and excerpts from the musicals Kiss Me Kate and West Side Story. Actors will perform soliloquies and sonnets to round out the concert.
