Don’t forget to purchase your tickets to this powerful event and conversation. Broomfield is home to many people from nations around the world. Hosted by the Broomfield Resettlement Task Force, and in partnership with the Colorado Refugees Speakers Bureau, this program will connect you with the stories and challenges of the descendants of some of the first indigenous residents of Broomfield, established immigrant changemakers, newcomers fleeing violence, and those who have stepped up as volunteers, home hosts, and leaders in our community. Hosted by 9News Reporter Angeline McCall and featuring excerpts of the short documentary film Una Vida Nueva, this program will enlighten, inspire, and engage our community, as we reflect on our own war-torn past, and move toward healing and resiliency.
