Have you ever wondered where Broomfield gets its water from? Do you know how many millions of gallons of water cycle through Broomfield's water treatment plant in a day? Find the answer to these questions and explore Broomfield's water treatment process at one of Broomfield's most unique facilities, the Water Treatment Facility. This tour is free to the public but registration is required. There will be three tours available, Wednesday, September 13, September 27, and October 11. Get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the amazing water treatment plant and see how the dedicated staff provide safe, clean water to our community!
Please be aware that the tours will require climbing up and down steep stairs, closed-toe shoes are highly recommended. Tours are approximately an hour and a half to tour the entire facility.
These tours are a collaboration between The Water Treatment Facilities team and Arts & History. Be sure to come to the Broomfield Auditorium on Sunday, September 24 at 2 p.m. for an amazing performance. Join LITVAK Dance and local dance group, Wild Heart Dance on a journey through Broomfield's waterways.
