Danse Etoile Ballet's "The Snow Queen" follows Gerda's journey to the icy palace of the evil Snow Queen to rescue her friend Kay from the Queen's spell. Along her way, Gerda meets many enchanting people and animals, but nothing can stop her from saving her friend. Only Gerda's love for Kay can break the Snow Queen's curse. This magical ballet based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale features all-new choreography by Marie-Jose Payannet and original music pieces by Colorado composer Bruce Klepper.
