Is your high school student applying for college this fall? Are you curious about what role to play during the application process? Attend the Broomfield Public Library’s college admissions workshop to learn how to best support students through the decision-making process.. Discover how to establish boundaries, engage in the cost-benefit analysis of college and how to communicate your values in relation to the student’s goals. This workshop is intended for parents and guardians who are guiding their kids through the college admission process.
The workshop will be presented by Gina Malecha, MA, LPC, NCC,a former high school counselor with more than 30 years of experience helping students and their families navigate the college going process. Known for her warm, practical approach, Gina has guided thousands of students in finding their best-fit colleges to achieve their postsecondary goals.
