Seed Swap
Excited to start your summer garden? Stop by the celebration to participate in the community seed swap! Attendees can bring extra seeds to share, take home new varieties and sign up to participate in the Broomfield Seed Library, where you can check out or donate seeds year round. Fill out a one-time membership form to get started!
Bike Repair Station
Got a bike in need of some TLC? Bring it to the event and let the skilled volunteer repair team work their magic at the new, free bike repair station! Ensure a spot by registering your bike in advance through the provided Bike Repair Sign-Up Form by Monday, April 6. Limited slots are available, so sign up early for a pedal-perfect experience!
Electric Vehicle (EV) Showcase
Here's your chance to see Electric Vehicles (EV) firsthand and ask questions! Swing by the EV Showcase, presented in partnership with Go Electric Colorado, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Coloradans embrace the benefits of an electric lifestyle. Explore a variety of models and chat with EV owners about their real-world experiences.
Garden Tool Swap
Get the tools you need to help your garden flourish this year at the garden tool swap. Community members are encouraged to trade new and gently used garden hand tools, all of which are available for free and while supplies last. Please ensure that items are clean and in working order, no broken or missing pieces.
Kids’ Activities
Enjoy hands-on fun designed especially for curious young learners. Kids can decorate their own planting pots, get creative with art supplies at the craft table and enjoy a hands-on play area. Visit the compost discovery station to learn what belongs in the bin and what does not, then make reusable beeswax wraps to take home and reduce plastic waste. Many community booths will also feature interactive activities just for kids, so they can play, create and discover sustainability throughout the event.
Volunteer
Looking to make a difference and get your hands dirty this Earth Day? Volunteer at the Broomfield Earth Day Celebration! Volunteers will kick off the celebration by supporting activity stations, greeting event participants, engaging with the community and providing other essential event support as needed. The volunteer shift lasts from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Visit Broomfield.org/VolunteerNow to sign up!
