Hear stories from indigenous panelists that highlights ways in which Native individuals and tribal organizations and governments continue to build community, thrive, and persevere despite generational trauma, cultural othering, and dispossession. Kick off Native American Heritage Month by listening and responding to the work, artistic creations, and passions of indigenous people in our community, as well as those who still call this land home, but now live in other parts of the country. As part of the Broomfield Out Loud project, this panel will elevate the voices of members of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes as well as indigenous residents of the north metro area.
Featured panelists are Fred Mosqueda, Tom Myer, Marty Strenczewilk (Creative Nations), and Kristina Maldonado Bad Hand. Program Moderator is Phillip Gover.
