Have you ever thought about waterways? How does water make its way from the sky and mountains to your home? What is the relationship between the natural landscape and building community for a growing population?
Join LITVAKdance on a journey through Broomfield’s waterways. Experience waterways through movement and imagine yourself as a waterway at this dynamic event that includes newly commissioned dance, film, music scores and artwork made just for Broomfield.
Want to know more about waterways? Before the performance, schedule a tour of Broomfield’s newest Water Treatment plant and see how the dedicated staff provide safe, clean water to our community.
As part of the Art and History Division’s Residence in Artistry program, LITVAKdance will also provide educational workshops and outreach, a participatory art activity will be built at the Broomfield Library in early September, and other events to be announced soon!
Visit CreativeBroomfield.org for more information on how to participate.
This program is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) through the Arts Projects grant program, the Rose Community Foundation and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
