Interested in volunteering at inventHQ, Broomfield Library's makerspace? This free training will prepare you to give tours of the space and assist new visitors with filling out the inventHQ safety waiver, and will provide more information on volunteering for special events and workshops in the makerspace. No experience necessary. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

This training is open to new and returning volunteers:

  • 9-10 a.m.: New volunteer orientation; returning volunteers can practice skills during this time. 
  • 10-11 a.m.: New & returning volunteers can practice skills during this time. 

To pick up volunteer shifts after this training, sign up for an account with VolunteerHub, Broomfield's volunteering platform. Staff will be available to assist with registering for VolunteerHub after the new volunteer orientation if needed, but feel free to sign up beforehand. If you are already registered for an account, you can sign up on VolunteerHub.
