Join Kelly Smith, a mixed media hand embroidery artist featured in Broomfield Out Loud, for a creative three-week journey into hand embroidery. In this series, we will bring a fresh summer strawberry floral print to life using pre-printed fabric as our canvas. Students will learn 5-7 new decorative stitches and add texture and sparkle by incorporating sequins and beads. This workshop encourages mindfulness, self-inquiry, and community connection as we stitch together. Registration required, please plan to attend all three sessions
Course Details:
- What’s Included: A full kit containing your hoop, fabric, needles, embroidery thread, sequins, and beads.
- What to Bring: Please bring a small pair of snips.
