Book some time to discuss a classic of Yiddish literature in a welcoming setting with fellow community members! This is the first of four sessions that will be held at the Broomfield Library as part of the Yiddish Book Center's Public Library Program over the course of 2026.
At the Feb. 3 meeting participants will discuss "Tevye the Dairyman" by Sholem Aleichem. Featuring one of the most beloved characters in contemporary Jewish fiction, this book touches on themes of family, place and faith. Registration for the program begins on January 5, and includes a copy of the book, author biography, bibliography, discussion questions, and a list of read alikes.

- "Tevye the Dairyman" by Sholem Aleichem (Feb. 3, 2026)
- "The Zelmenyaners" by Moyshe Kulbak (April 7, 2026)
- "The Only Good Indians" by Stephen Graham Jones (Sept. 15, 2026)
- "A Jewish Refugee in New York" by Kadya Molodovsky (Dec. 8, 2026)
