Are you or someone you love facing a serious illness? Judy Knudson, a practitioner and professor of palliative care, will share resources and topics to assist in your journey. This four part series will cover the framework for palliative care, pain and symptom management, communication tips in healthcare settings, and advance directives. 

This session's topics include: How to improve your skills in self-health care promotion and in caring for others with a serious illness? How to be an advocate for your loved one. Why words matter and how to communicate more effectively.

Judy Knudson MS PA-C, BSN has more than 40 years experience working with patients and families in healthcare settings that include Anschutz Medical Center and Veterans Affairs as an assistant professor, physician assistant, and RN.
