Are you or someone you love facing a serious illness? Judy Knudson, a practitioner and professor of palliative care, will share resources and topics to assist in your journey. This four part series will cover the framework for palliative care, pain and symptom management, communication tips in healthcare settings, and advance directives. 

This session's topics include: Discuss ways to personalize your medical care. Discuss how palliative care can honor your values to get the kind of care you desire. Consider how to have support and guidance as you navigate the healthcare system.

Judy Knudson MS PA-C, BSN has more than 40 years experience working with patients and families as a physician assistant and RN in inpatient palliative care settings, and has recently retired as an educator on palliative care for patients and caregivers at the Anschutz Medical Center.
